Mighty Wurlitzer Organ Host - $250

The Wurlitzer Organ is a staple of the Plaza Theater. The organ, a Wurlitzer Balaban III, is one of the last surviving organs of its kind. During the restoration of the Plaza, the organ was restored in 2006 to its glory of the past.

Betty Mary Goetting Host - $500

Betty Mary Goetting was a local activist at the forefront of women's health in El Paso. Not only did she bring Planned Parenthood to El Paso in 1937, but she also led a midnight showing of "Gone of the Wind" in 1939 at Plaza Theater for African Americans due to Jim Crow laws at the time in Texas. The showing was reported to be "packed" according to local newspapers.

Rita Moreno Host - $750

Legendary Oscar, Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award winner Rita Moreno pushed to save the Plaza in 1986. With days to spare to recuse the Plaza, she hosted fundraisers to save it from the wrecking ball. She's a regular visitor during the Plaza Classic Film Festival.

The Star on the Mountain Host - $1000

The Star on the Franklin Mountains is a unique and cherished reminder of our international community since 1940, when it was lit for the first time during the holidays.
